About Salt & Light Veterinary Clinic
Rooted in faith and inspired by the coastal beauty of Santa Rosa Beach, Salt & Light Veterinary Clinic was founded to provide heartfelt care for dogs and cats. As a family-owned practice serving Walton County communities, we’re committed to building genuine relationships and delivering veterinary care with compassion, clarity, and purpose.
Our Story
Our name is inspired by Jesus’ words in Matthew 5:13–16, where He calls His followers to be the salt of the earth and the light of the world. That calling shapes the way we serve our community each day. We strive to reflect Christ’s love through excellent medicine, genuine compassion, and relationships built on trust.
As a family-owned, one-doctor practice, we believe veterinary care should feel personal. We take the time to truly know you and your pet, celebrating joyful milestones, guiding you through difficult decisions, and walking alongside your family through every stage of your pet’s life.
Whether it’s a first puppy visit or ongoing wellness care for a senior cat, we’re here to walk with you every step of the way.
Why Families Choose Salt & Light
In a world that can feel rushed or impersonal, we slow down and focus on relationships. Our clients know us by name—and we know their pets by heart. Because we’re a small team, you’ll see familiar, trusted faces every time you walk through our doors.
We also believe that modern veterinary care shouldn’t mean compromise. That’s why we invest in updated equipment, provide thoughtful treatment plans, and take time to educate and empower our clients. It’s how we build trust—and how we help your pet live their healthiest life.
